The Position -Housekeeper:

Your contributions to the team helps make our guests feel like they are at their home away from home with a clean room stocked with everything to make their stay more comfortable.


General Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Clean guest rooms as assigned, including, but not limited to, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, cleaning windows, removing marks from walls, and vacuuming within the time allocated.
  • Change and replenish bed linens, towels and guest amenities, as needed.
  • Stock, maintain and transport housekeeping supply cart daily.
  • Washing, drying, folding and maintaining all guest room laundry.
  • Perform deep cleaning tasks, as assigned by supervisor.
  • Welcome and greet guests according to hotel policy and with a warm friendly smile; answer questions and/or inquiries.
  • Respond to requests from guests and other departments in a friendly and efficient manner.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to provide the best possible experience for the guests, ensuring superior personalized service.


Other General Requirements of the Position:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous hotel-related experience preferred.
  • Bilingual is preferred.
  • Ability to move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance and more than 25 pounds with assistance.
  • Ability to push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart and other work-related equipment over sloping and uneven surfaces.
  • Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
  • Ability to tolerate exposure to cleaning chemicals.
  • Ability to stand, kneel, or walk for an extended period across an entire work shift.
  • Ability to multi-task and be detailed oriented.
  • Ability to project a professional, friendly and courteous image to guests and other team members.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
